We should reach net zero carbon emissions as early as possible (and no later than 2040), and take this opportunity to transform Guernsey into a climate leader and innovator.

I believe it is urgent, we all have a part to play, be it financial or practical. I love all things natural and have been a champion for the environment all of my life.

I believe urgent action is needed to save Guernsey's biodiversity, and the States should immediately invest more funding to protect it, introducing new legislation as appropriate.

To much has already been lost, the island is already over developed. We need to be smarter when developing and not take up any more foot print, be that on our shores or land.
Transitioning to a greener economy could result in major, potentially unequal, social and economic impacts. Which statement best reflects your view of how these should be managed?
We can do more than just avoid unfairness - we can and should use climate action as an opportunity to build a better, fairer society, for example, through green job creation and progressive funding solutions.

The possibilities and benefits to our social and economic well being are endless. We could be the worlds envy again, just like we are at present during the pandemic.

No more lose of biodiversity rich areas, no more greenfield developments, no more change of use from agriculture to privet gardens, ensuring all air polluting businesses are compliant with the now active legislation, budget for the third sector involved in environmental initiatives .
